    Axel Rover - Adventurer Leonhard-Saijo-mahouka-koukou-no-rettousei-36897090-476-268

    General Information

    Race: Human

    Name: Axel Rover
    Sex: Male
    Gender: Male
    Age: 22
    Sexuality: Heterosexual
    Birthday: 26th/April

    Relationships: N/A

    Faction: Adventurer
    Title: Wanderer
    Rank: Experienced
    Alignment: Chaotic Good

    Appearance

    Height: 1.83m
    Weight: 87kg
    Eye Color: Green
    Hair color/style: Chestnut/Short Hair
Extra: Scars all over his body.

    Overall Appearance:
Axel is a light-skinned human with an athletic build, as he has played a lot of sports and worked out a bunch when he was younger. He has chestnut hair and green eyes, is 5 foot 11 and weighs 191 pounds. His facial features are of average, like his eyebrows, nose and ears. Axel's voice is in the middle of high-pitched and deep, and his skin is rather soft.

What Axel doesn't like to show much is the numerous amount of scars all over his torso and legs, some even going up to his neck, but all of them are hidden by his clothing. He got them from a result of his father's harsh training. Most are from sword strikes, and come in straight lines, crescents, or even curcles, while some are from arrows, explosions, and even bites. Due to getting the high amounts of damage that caused these scars in his legs, Axel has a hard time getting up, and sometimes even limps while he is walking, or probably even trip while he is running. When he kicks too hard he feels a bit of the pain as well.

His primary outfit includes a grey polo shirt with a black tie, a white overcoat with green stripes over that, black flat front pants with a black belt and black-and-green shoes. Axel keeps quite a few pears of that in case they get dirty or torn during his fight, and when he is feeling for a change he puts on a black short-sleeved T-shirt that shows his muscles, with blue jeans and black vans. He also keeps a pair of black shades on him in case he needs to look more cool.

Once it is time to gear up for battle, Axel prefers light armor that he can get around in without reduced speed, as well as it being able to protect him, even if just a little. It doesn't matter which colors the armor are, or how they even look in his opinion.

Face Claim: [Leonhard Saijo] - (The Irregular at Magic High School)

    Persona

    Likes:
+ Fighting: Ever since Axel was a small boy, fighting was like a second language to him. It was also something that helped him cope with being bullied.

+ Strong-Willed People: Axel appreciates anyone who has a will to fight for what they desire, no matter what it is for. He will even congratulate a criminal if he believes they have done well in the occupation.

+ Books: When he isn't off adventuring, Axel can usually be found near a tall tree, sitting against it and reading a book. His favorite genres are action/adventure and romance.

+ Women: Axel cannot function if he has not seen a women within a day. He states that the beauty of some give him the boost he needs to tackle the strongest of opponents.

+ Adventure: There is nothing more fulfilling to the young man than his love for adventuring throughout Britannia. One day he wishes to explore all of it.

    Dislikes:
    - Bullies: Axel can't stand anyone that uses their powers to boss around people who do not wish to follow their orders. When there is a chance to strike them down, he will take it.

    - Cowards: Axel cannot respect anyone who is not willing to train and fight, as he knows that anyone can be strong if they practice. Though he won't mind defending them, he won't like it either.

    - Giants: It is more envy than hate towards this race, but Axel hates the fact that they are gifted with such brute strength and speed while he is stuck at a human's capacity. This can result in him losing his self control and lashing out at any giant due to his jealousy

    - Thieves: In Axel's opinion, you must earn whatever you have, so taking something that belongs to a person still alive without permission is just awful. Anyone caught doing this by him will receive any punishment he deems they need.

    - Kingdoms: Axel became an adventure for 2 main reasons. The first was to adventure and the second was to make sure he never ended up as a lapdog to the men who control big portions of the land of Britannia.

    Motivation:
+ Axel is motivated by his dream to see every bit of the wonderful land that is Britannia. Ever since he was just a boy he wanted to see for himself what secrets were hidden and the dangers along the way, as he always liked a challenge, all while becoming one of the strongest men in the world.

    Fears:
    - Pitch-Black: One of the most fearsome things that Axel has never successfully challenged was his deathly fear of utter darkness. Whenever he is surrounded by it, and cannot see even a hint of light, he feels like he is being consumed by something really evil.

    - God-Like Entities: Axel's attitude towards most enemies is that if they are mortal they can be beaten, no matter how, but fighting an enemy with powers that rival a god, if any, would scare the shit out of the young man. He has no confidence when it comes to fighting an enemy that just can't be beaten.

    - Losing Memories: A thing that allows Axel to get up and feel happy is the memories of every single adventure he has been on, but if something happened that would take those away, he would lose his sanity for sure. Of course he wouldn't remember, but he doesn't quite get that, so bare with him.

    Overall Personality:
Axel for the most part is a calm and fun guy who doesn't mind hanging out with anybody, as long as they aren't rude to him. he doesn't discriminate based on anything, and loves to make as many friends as he possibly can, since it is never fun to be alone and it is always a good thing to have backup, in his opinion. Whenever he feel truly close to someone, he will find a day to just open up to them, telling them of his history, and even the things he fears the most. When he gets angry, Axel likes to keep himself calm on the outside, because he is afraid of what he would do if he raged, as there is also some deep anger in him due to the harsh years training with his father, which would usually cause a man to hate the world. In times of depression and sadness, the best way for the young man to get over these feelings are with a friend, preferably a women, and after just a few hours of talk and laughter, and maybe even some romance, he forgets about all of his worries. What stands out most about Axel is his curiosity though, as he has made several goals for himself that include knowing what he doesn't, such as adventuring, and trying to get even more powerful.

Anyone Axel gets well acquainted with who has not used any time to better protect themselves from the dangers of Britannia will be harshly lectured and then optionally trained by him, but it isn't so bad once you realize that the guy just really cares for your well-being, as Axel knows how important ever life is, and will try his best to ensure that the death rate is lowered, or at least wherever he is around, which is Britannia in this case.

Along with protecting the people of Britannia, Axel also likes to search for adventure wherever he can find it, in order to find lost secrets and treasures that many have attempted to, but failed. Since he is basically a man of freedom, he does not like the fact that the kingdoms act all high and mighty and try to govern the people of the land, and will try to stop them in anyway without doing any physical damage, but instead through organized protests that he convinces some citizens to partake in. He knows this might cause the kingdoms' knights to get a bit violent, but he does anything in his power to protect those with him at the time. This doesn't mean that he wants anarchy, but Axel just wants equality in the land. His brain always tells him it will never work and to just go along with the grand flow of things and accept the kingdoms, but his body knows that it isn't an option and continues to find an alternative.

Aside from fighting for the rights of Britannia, Axel also likes to fight in general, as it is like a second language to him and it has been ever since he was just a boy. It was the only way he knew to protect himself from those that wanted to hurt him and his family, and it stuck with him, eventually causing him to be the fighter he is today. He hasn't perfected his fighting ability, but he trains everyday.

Speaking of fighting, Axel doesn't just go in charging when he does. Instead, he thinks about the situation first, including how many enemies there are, the strength of each one if he has that information, and the amount of allies on his side. After taking a few seconds to do that, he then formulates a plan in his mind, whether it be before the fight starts or as it is happening, and then attempts to execute it. Of course, there are almost always backup plans if the first doesn't work, which might not work as good as the main one, but are still effective nonetheless.

If there is ever a person that needs to be the one to stall the enemy for his allies to work out something or sacrifice himself to save them, it will be Axel, because he always tries to put his teammates first before him, especially if there is more than just one person he is fighting with. Of course he is afraid of death as much as any other person normally would, but when worse comes to worse he thinks of dying as another journey to an unknown world, whether it may be an adventure of bliss or one of danger.

when being lead by a leader he moves how they tell him to move and attacks how they tell him to attack, trusting their judgement, and if that fails, he attempts to regroup with the leader of the battle and suggests other actions. If he is leading, than he expects those following him into battle to do what he tells them to do, and if they don't or the plan fails, he thinks up some more ideas until they win or lose the fight. Usually if the team doesn't form a leader-follower formation, then Axel thinks of it more as a brainstorming situation, where everyone can suggest ideas and they are executed on the spot, if there is not a better idea.

    History

    History:
Axel Rover was born in Biron, located in Central Britannia. His family at the time consisted of Alexander, his grandfather, Alex, his father, Sylvia, his mother, John, his older brother born 2 years before him and Jessica, his younger sister born 2 years after him. The family had no other relatives to enjoy life with since Alex and Sylvia each were an only child, and their parents, except Alex's father, had passed on already, and any other members of the family were either never known or moved far off into another land. For generations, the Rover family line included knights of the Kingdom of Liones, fighting bravely for their land, which included protecting the citizens from criminals, wild beasts, etc. Along with a long line of knights in the family, there was also a dojo they owned, located in Biron, that has been used by them to train many knights of Liones and mold them into proper fighters, as well as citizens and travelers that wanted to learn to better protect themselves. Usually a man from the Rover family will inherit the dojo from their father after they have become a veteran knight, and then continue to be the master of it until their son grew up to be strong enough to own it.

At the time of Axel's birth, his grandfather was the current master of the dojo while his father was still a knight of Liones. His mother was a famous artist, since the town of Biron was known for their art, and with her being born and raised in it with a family line of artists, she already knew what her passion in life would be. Because of their jobs, the Rover children basically had to raise themselves. The dojo was right next to the house, allowing their grandpa to check on them every now and then, but he was usually too busy with his dojo to help them through the early years of life. John liked to think of himself as the temporary father of his siblings for this reason, and treated them like his own, even though he was just a kid. He actually liked it, being able to boss them around, and they actually went with it, seeing as they favored their eldest brother. Though that was the structure they went with, it didn't stop the three from playing with each other when they felt like it, sometimes joining the other kids in games like hide-and-seek, tag, dodge-ball and many others. When their mother wasn't busy painting or drawing anything, they would gather in the living room while she told them stories of her family line, as well as the considerable feats that their father and his father did, seeing as they were too busy to tell the tales themselves.

Once Axel was 8, he began to train in his grandfather's dojo, along with John who started 2 years before him, while Sylvia decided to do something gentler in her life, drawing and painting her own pictures. Due to them being children, and Alexander having too kind of a heart, he went easy during their training, which wasn't the best idea when training potential knights, but since they started earlier than most, it was considered ok by him. Regardless of this kind nature, as one year went by, Axel showed great progress, not quite being able to wield regular weapons like a knight, but still being able to pretty much beat any kid in the town, except for his brother and a few more kids who's families wanted them to train early.

Even though he was a knight, Alex was still able to visit his family at least a few days of each month. Because of this, his three children had a good relationship with him, but because of the things he witnessed as a knight, the man resorted to heavy drinking, and would even get physical, getting to the point where even Alexander had to step in to stop him from hitting his kids. It was because of this that the Rover children had a slight fear of him, and after a few years passed, it would only get worse.

Sylvia and Jessica, when Axel was only 13, got a strange disease that no one could cure, and after months of fighting it along with support from the 4 Rover males, the two eventually died, causing great emotional stress. Two months after their deaths, Alexander had a heart attack, causing him to die, which meant that Alex had to retire in order to run the family dojo and take care of his two sons. The string of deaths caused the three to be really quiet, and want a lot of time to themselves, but seeing as Axel and John needed to be trained, and the fact that Alex had to keep the dojo running, this could not be helped.

Unlike Alexander, Alex was not as kind hearted, and worked his sons like he did his regular trainees, or perhaps even worse, since he was very emotionally unstable if you include the deaths of his loved ones and his experiences as a knight. While other trainees got to leave during late hours, Alex pushed his sons, training them in multiple martial arts, and even using real bladed weapons, and due to the obvious gap in power, Axel and John received numerous scars to their body, which Alex even felt they needed to teach them that the enemy would not be so lenient as to spare them most of the time. The boys barely got any time to themselves except for sleep. Whenever they had breaks that lasted hours, they weren't really considered breaks due to the fact that Alex decided to sneak up on them and attack to train their reflexes. The father basically wasn't a 'father' to his children, showing his serious side every day after the deaths.

Some would find the physical and mental stress that Axel and John had to endure too much to cope with, and while Axel sucked it all up and unleashed his true feelings inside, John was becoming unstable, crying most of the time, and cursing himself for living this life right before he went to bed, and even in his sleep. He was treated even more harshly due to this, as Alex did not appreciate 'wimps' in his family, and constantly threw in his face that even Axel, his younger brother was able to hold it in. This even led to Axel being able to best John in a few matches, due to his emotions getting in the way. Eventually, when John was 16, due to his pride and the fear of what his father might do, he did not go to another adult to help him with his issues, though he couldn't take it anymore and commited suicide by hanging himself. Alex, upon discovering this, tried to hide it so that he would never be convicted of 'torturing' his son to the point of him commiting suicide, since their basically was scars all over his body. He hid the body and then convinced everyone that he went to another town to learn foreign martial arts. Even Axel believed this, since it was only natural to want to learn more and fro someone else other than their 'dangerous' father, though he found that it was a bit peculiar he didn't even say goodbye to his only brother. Of course, even though it was very painful, Axel ruled that if he couldn't take it, he won't be able to take on life, as he decided to become an adventure, so no matter how much he hated his father's methods, and perhaps even his father, he would continue to suffer.

One night, when Axel was 18, he was walking back and forth through his hallway, thinking about the rigorous training he undertook and how much stronger he would become. He told his father he did not want to become a knight due to his view of them that he has developed ever since childhood, and though he reluctantly accepted this, he trained the boy even harder, knowing that he wouldn't get any training at a kingdom. While he was thinking of all of these things, he was next to his father's room, when he mumbled something he probably didn't mean to say, since he was very drunk. 'Tha..that damn son of mines, strangling his d..damn self. Piece of shit if you tell me, heheh' and he continued to insult his dead son. Hearing these things made Axel feel weird inside, and deeply angered. He knew his father was drunk, but also heard that your emotions come out when you are. That night, after that he stayed locked in his room, sobbing for his dead brother, and cursing his father all night, since the only reason for John committing suicide was the extreme depression he had while training under Alex.

It was then that he developed the thought of challenging his father to a death match in the dojo that evening, as his emotions at this point were overpowering him, but not before he confronted him and confirmed what happened, so during a session, Axel asked to question his father personally, so they went into the house and he asked if his brother commited suicide, and he knew the answer as soon as his father's face turned from extremely annoyed to extremely shocked. Knowing that he already gave it away, he begged Axel not to tell anyone, and that they would discuss it after the session. It was then that Axel decided he was going to face his father in deathly combat.

During the session however, it was as if one of the trainees read Axel's mind, because at the end of the session, he challenged Alex to the death. Due to his pride and the fact that he believed he was stronger than all of the people he trained, the man accepted the challenge. The challenger had long red hair, an athletic build, had facial features not so out of the ordinary, and wore light armor. The two opponents decided on a sword fight, with the challenger wielding one blade, but Alex wielding too, and to Axel that most likely meant death for the one he did not know personally. For the many years he has been a student of his father, the young man knew that his dual wielding skills were at the top, of comparison to maybe even that of some of the strongest holy knights, though deep down he still wished that somehow the man would prevail, even though he himself will not bea ble to fight like he hoped against the man who raised him.

There were only three people in the room, since the challenge was issued after classes. Alex, the challenger, who went by the name of Peter, and Axel, who was there for confirmation that a death battle took place, and not just murder.

Once the fight began, it seemed like Alex had the upper hand, since every sword clash revealed that his strength and willpower was much more, though it seemed that Peter was faster, which amused Axel because he seemed almost as young as he was, and now that he thought about it, Peter had only started taking classes last week, meaning he had training elsewhere. The battle lasted very long, as neither would budge, and ran all across the giant room, leaping acrobatically to avoid attacks, lunging at the opponent but making sure they had there guard up, and many more stypes of attack and defense. Finally, when all seemed lost for Peter, he began using a weird power that lit up the whole room, temporarily blinding Axel and Alex, and at the end of it, which was a few seconds, it appeared that the challenger won, with the head Rover on the ground with a deep wound in his chest, as it seemed a sword pierced right through jos heart. After that Peter sheathed his sword, turned to Axel and began apologizing while walking out of the room, but all he got in reply was the now-bastard mouthing the word 'thank you.' Peter smiled as if he really did Axel's mind in the beginning, and then left.

Due to his father's death, that would leave Axel with the dojo to run, but he was far from ready to train others, so he left the ownership to a neighbor who was a former knight and close friend to the Rover family, while he decided to travel around Britannia, adventuring as well as getting stronger until he would eventually come back to his home town.

The first year for the Rover was very rough, since it was the first time he had ever been outside of his hometown for long amounts of time. Axel stayed in Central Britannia, and due to his current power, he was able to get small jobs like chasing away wild animals and town chores, which was enough to stay at an inn for most nights, though some days he barely had enough and had to sleep in a forest close by on top of a tree. There would be times when criminals were out.on the loose, which Axel helped deal with, but most of the times their power was clearly above him, causing him to be sort of a nuisance instead of an ally. This made him shocked because  for all of the training he had to endure, he still couldn't handle every enemy he faced, causing him to train every night, sometimes not even sleeping.

After weeks of this life style, Axel met an adventurer named Zeppeli who he eventually made an alliance with, and together they traveled the land of central Britannia taking mercenary jobs and turning in bounties that allowed them to stay in an inn every night. They even held small protests against the kingdoms, willingly serving a few weeks in prison to get their point across that the structure was too controlling of Britannia's citizens. After a few months they became the best of friends and even told their life stories to each other. Because of this, Axel was less emotionally broken then before since he was the last member of his family, and wished that his newfound friend would never leave his side, however, 2 years later, Zeppeli died in a large fight with multiple wild beasts. Axel survived, but wished that he would have died instead. Though he was broken once again, Axel strived on, making more friends that year, though they weren't as close as he was with Zeppeli.

The next 2 years of the young man's life wasn't as rough as he expected. He was much stronger than the first day he set out to become an adventurer, and even gained a special power that he doesn't like to always use publicly, but comes in handy when he must. He also had expanded just a bit away from central Britannia, traveling to both north and south Britannia to help those in need, and even got more friends that he knows would help him if he ever came back to their locations. Knights everywhere also feared him since he was known not to like the kingdom structure much, and was known for his mild protests, though you never knew when he would just say screw it and go on the offensive.

Now it is current time, and Axel is a known adventurer throughout central Britannia and maybe even all of Britannia for his many heroic feats.
