    Exposition To Our World

Britannia. A former province grown out of the age of tribes, paganism and constant war. Different from our world however, the world in which this Britannia resides in is vast, full of magic, mystery and legend. Immense powers lie in this land. From the strongest beasts to the greatest mysteries, nothing in this world isn't completely baffling to the eye. Adventurers, Knights, Nobles, Hunters, Rebels, Criminals and opposing forces to the country's widely acclaimed peace all cause turmoil within the great Britannia. But it is a time in which the greatest stories have yet to unfold. It is the choice of individuals that will shape this lands' destiny. Nothing can stop the tales in this land from unfolding. It is up to the people to decide where Britannia is headed. Will it face glory, peace, war or dark times? Progress, prosperity or maybe destruction? It is time for the people to give voice to the still untold future.

II. Universe Guidelines Empty Race Information

Post by Britannia Mon Apr 14, 2014 12:31 am

    Races

The country of Britannia, lying within the Human Realm is dominated by humans. However, Giants and Fairies have also been known to appear throughout the centuries. Each of those races have strengths and weaknesses alongside their abilities, they are not equal in skill and power. Very grave distinctions should be made when talking about these races. Each originate in different places, even though the main venues are the Human Kingdoms. The worlds of the Fairies and the Giants are largely unknown to humans, even to the brightest scholars of Britannia.

    • Humans: Humans, basically. They make up the largest part of the Britannian population and have created three major Kingdoms in Britannia. The Kingdom of Liones, the Kingdom of Danafor and the Kingdom of Camelot. In the overarching perspective of things, humans are the dominating of the races. They are regarded as the most intelligent and also bare the greatest economic potential. Politics and society are major aspects in the Human world and they occupy the most area of all the races as they are the greatest in number.

      • Biology: A human's biology is an adult with height between 1,50m and 2,50m and weight usually ranging from 50 kg to 200 kg. The life expectancy for humans in this universe at this point in time is around 50 to 75 years old. Mages, meaning Humans that acquired the Wizardry Skill can get up to 200 years old. Despite their small size they also have the most evened out potential for physical traits without having gradually weak points. They are seen as the race with the highest intelligence.

      • Advantage: Humans generally have the greatest willpower and adaptability resulting in the most extreme Powers in comparison with the Giants or the Fairies. If two characters of the same tier, but one being a Giant or Fairy and the other a human, encounter, then the human's Power will be stronger in relativity to the Giant's or Fairy's Power.

      • Disadvantage: While Humans have the greatest adaptability, intelligence and versatility in skills and abilities having high physical potential, Powers and even the ability to wield magic, their ultimate potential is not as great as that of Giants or Fairies. A Human of the same rank as a Giant will always lose in strength and endurance, and a Human of the same rank as a Fairy will never have the same magical versatility and strength as a Fairy.

    • Giants: Not very much is known about the rumored Giants' Clan. They basically look like oversized Humans. They are gigantic, towering and inconceivably strong. Their race is regarded as the physically most competent race. It is also rumored that their practicality and craftiness exceeds all others. The weapons that occasionally make their way to the human kingdoms are widely regarded as sturdier and stronger than what humans produce. It is said that Giants have their own Kingdom somewhere far off the coast of Britannia. This may be true, it may be false.

      • Biology: Giants are generally around 5 times the size of humans, meaning between 7,50 m and 12 m tall. They tower over most things and their cities and goods all fit their size. Their weight ranges from 500 kg to 1 ton. Their life expectancy lies at around 800 to 1000 years old. They live much longer than humans and while Humans are generally regarded as more intelligent, their craftsmanship is the greatest of all the races. A Giant has a natural affinity for dexterity.

      • Advantage: Giants have a much greater physical capabilities compared to others.  Especially their strength is abnormal. It is said that their basic strength is ten times that of a Human and their speed and endurance exceeds that of Humans several times as well. A Giant of the same tier as a Human will always have exponentially greater strength and better speed and endurance.

      • Disadvantages: Giants are big. They don't fit everywhere and can cause massive havoc in enclosed spaces. Furthermore, Giants have not shown any sign of being capable of using Magic so far, meaning the Wizardry skill is inaccessible for Giants. Furthermore, every Giant's Power must bare some kind of relation to the earth and to nature. Their Powers can not get too complex.

    • Fairies: Small, merry creatures who's affinity for magic beats all the other races. They are the only other known race to have a powerful kingdom. Although the "Fairy Realm", in which the Fairies live is a seperate world from the Human Realm, the Fairy King's Forest marks a border between the worlds. It is a gigantic, wholely enchanted forest that the Fairies treasure as their home and take extreme care of. It is the densest and strongest part of the "Fairy Realm". Although only Fairies can directly access it, there are ways and methods through which humans are also able to access the Fairy King's Forest. It is rumored that the driving power of this enchanted forest is a fountain that grants immortality for the one who drinks of it. Fairies are generally regarded as the physically weakest race. They can never reach a physical condition that is considered above-average for a human.

      • Biology: Fairies are small creatures. Ranging from 0.5m to 1,60m in height and somehow weighing barely anything, usually just the clothes they wear. All fairies levitate instead of walking. They generally live to become easily over 5000 years old. Because of this, they barely reproduce and it is said that a Fairy's knowledge and wisdom exceeds that of any other race. Additionally, their magical capabilities are also extremely potent and the strongest in comparison to Humans.

      • Advantages: A Fairy retains the ability to levitate. The speed of levitation is just as strong as the moving speed of Humans at a respective rank. Fairies magical abilities are also so great that every Fairy is born with innate magical potential, meaning every Fairy automatically acquires the Wizardry Skill. Additionally, every Fairy also has a Magic Power by base without having to invest Exp to acquire it. They can then acquire further Magic Powers.

      • Disadvantages: All Fairies have extremely low physical capabilities. Their strength is decreasingly small and insignificant, even in comparison to the most basic and regular human. They have the respective strength of a child. A Fairy's endurance, whilst by far not suffering as much as their strength, is also comparatively low to a human, not to mention to a Giant. Their endurance and stamina is genuinely not as strong as that of regular humans. Lastly, while magical potential of Fairies is extremely great, they do not have access to the Human form of Magic in the shape of Enchantments.

II. Universe Guidelines Empty Faction Information

Post by Britannia Mon Apr 14, 2014 6:38 pm

    Factions

    • Kingdom of Liones: The glorious Kingdom of Liones. It is a thriving community located in the center of Britannia. Their King is said to be the most just and intelligent of all the kings. Liones also bares the most political and economic power, exporting goods and trading all across Britannia. Their royalty is the most powerful with the greatest wealth and the Kingdom generally has the smallest poverty of all Kingdoms. Thus, this Kingdom also has the biggest army of all with a great number of strong Holy Knights.

    • Kingdom of Danafor: The peaceful Kingdom of Danafor. It is the religious center and the most spiritual community located somewhat North West of Liones. Their Holy Knights have the greatest conviction of all Knights in Britannia and patriotism is worn with pride. This country bares many strong and especially academic Holy Knights as all Knights receive proper teachings in reading, writing and sciences before being able to become protectors of this country. It is the most lawful and proper Kingdom.

    • Kingdom of Camelot: A small yet extremely chaotic Kingdom. The strongest and greatest Knights have surfaced in this country since its forming. The King is usually the strongest of all as the seat of highest royalty is not passed on by blood in Camelot, but earned through force. This land is centered around combat and political power. Poverty stricken, yet with many gifted, talented and strong people in the country it has proven to be the third great Kingdom of Britannia. Its strength is nothing to be underestimated, despite its size.

    • Adventurers: There are people in Britannia that have stripped themselves of allegiance to Kings, countries and armies. Those people are commonly referred to as Adventurers. The people who explore the vast land leaving everything behind them with a devil-may-care attitude. These people go on adventures to discover the secrets of Britannia. They try to find the greatest treasures to obtain and strongest beasts to fight. A lifestyle of wonder and mysteries that many can't understand. But Adventurers have the greatest freedom and opportunity of all people.

    • Criminals: The people that have branded Criminals by Kingdoms are runaways that have broken the law or have been framed for crimes that they have or have not committed. These people are widely seen as dangerous and usually can't move freely within the confines of Kingdoms.
