    General Information

    • Quests are the main principle of economy on this site. Characters do Quests to earn Experience and other rewards. They involve rping towards a certain goal and once that is achieved, the Quest is complete and a staff will review the Quest. Upon approval, the rewards are given.

    • The IC universe of the canon Nanatsu No Taizai is still largely unexplored, so there is a lot of freedom we can allow ourselves here. The wildest of beasts or the most crooked of species. Really anything goes, and please don't question it or be nitpicky about IC details in comparison to the canon universe.

    • Quests can be applied for in the right section which you can find by clicking on this.

    • Quests are divided by Type and Rank. Depending on its Rank and Type, it will have a more complicated storyline, higher rewards and higher requirements.

    • Quests will likely be your main source of income. I will try to make them as rewarding as possible, but there is bound to be a Quest that is super boring despite you needing to complete it to buy your next Equipment or the next Skill level. I apologize, but deal with it.

    • Some of these will be repeatable. Like finding a kitten. It will be dealt with the same as MMORPG quests. They are supposed to be a grind. Just for the easy Exp. I will try to make some of these more appealing, but I can't promise anything.

    • Common Type Quests are repeatable even by the same character! Infinitely, if you wish for it so! Though I imagine that would get boring after a while.

VII. Quest Guidelines Empty Quest Ranks

Post by Britannia Sun Oct 12, 2014 3:20 am

    Quest Ranks

Quests have different ranks. Depending on their ranks, only people of that Rank and up can take these Quests. Meaning if you are an Expert, but the Quest is Master in Rank you will either need a Master Ranked character coming with you or you will be unable to take the Quest. Quests always require at LEAST one character of the Rank coming on the Quest, but some Quests may have exceptions in their requirements.

    • Civilian: Mundane tasks that most anyone would be able to perform. They don't require special training and only give low rewards. These are most likely Common Type Quests that can be infinitely repeated for their simply rewards.
    • Novice: These tasks are likely still mundane, but serve the purpose to actually improve your character. The Experience gained will still seem sparse, but you might be able to catch a Rare Quest from this Rank and gain some higher rewards.
    • Apprentice: This is already the territory in which tasks can become difficult to perform. Apprentice level tasks will always require some form of skill that your character must present to complete the task. Rewards start feeling rewarding and there might even come a Unique Quest to complete for really high rewards!
    • Experienced: These Quests will not only require skill, but also experience. Not any fresh-blooded Apprentice or Paragon Koly Knight can complete these, but they will require that your character has some form of Experience regarding the tasks or they will be facing some difficulty. Rewards can fall out pretty decent and the simplicity of the tasks falls away.
    • Expert: Only real Experts can complete these Quests. This is something for the people of real skill. Rewards will fall out high, Quests will have high requirements and some stories can even be quite intense. Rare and Unique Quests will in contrast to their name pop up much more often than in the lower ranks!
    • Master: The Quests for the strongest. The Masters and Teachers of other Holy Knights, the Adventurers of fame and glory. The people that have committed to themselves and are known throughout Britannia. These Quests will not be easy and will give great rewards!
    • Legendary: Legendary Ranked Quests are only for the strongest of the strong. Usually they will require more than 1 person to take them on. That is how fierce these Quests can get. Quests Of Legend can are usually of this rank, but albeit Legendary Ranked Quests being the most difficult of the difficult, there is another stage.
    • Singularity: These Quests have little to do with skill, difficulty or experience. They simply require the strength of beings so out of the ordinary, so unusual and so mighty that even the strongest of the strong pale.
    • Finalist: It is said that Quests of this Rank only pop up once every 100 years.

VII. Quest Guidelines Empty Quest Types

Post by Britannia Sun Oct 12, 2014 3:36 am

    Quest Types

There are 4 Quest Types in total to choose from. Quests of every rank are ascribed one of these Types. The Types indicate the difficulty of the Quest in regards of its content as well as its rewards and impact on the IC universe of this forum as well as its repeatability.

    • Common: The simplest of the 4 Types of Quests. This Type of Quest is infinitely repeatable because the people who require the help on these type of Quests are redshirts, NPC's, civilians that serve the simple purpose to create a job market for the characters. These Types of Quests usually incorporate things like searching books, saving cats, delivering letters or helping NPC's with their mundane lives. The rewards for these Types of Quests will be somewhat sparse and will usually just incorporate Experience and nothing else. The requirements to complete these types are low and are designed to be able to be fast, but of course are higher the higher the Quests Rank.
    • Rare: Rare Quests incorporate not so mundane tasks that usually have higher requirements in regards to the amount of rping that needs to be done. The NPC's that give Rare Quests are usually somehow important in the IC universe which already indicates that Rare Quests incorporate more difficult tasks usually needing the help of Holy Knights or Adventurers that have made a name for themselves. Whilst these Quests are also infinitely repeatable, they usually exist for a limited amount of time. The Experience rewards on Rare Quests are much higher than on Common Quests and can even give more than Common Quests of higher ranks. Additionally, Rare Quests can even sometimes give bonus rewards such as Equipment or a new Technique for your Power!
    • Unique: Unique Quests might be the most interesting Quests out there. The content put into the threads dealing with Unique Quests will immediately impact the IC universe. The tasks that Unique Quests require to be done are usually incredibly important and give high rewards. Unique Quests can only be applied to ONCE. Until either the applicants finish the Quest, or they fail and cancel the Quest, Unique Quests can NOT be applied for again. If a Unique Quest is finished, it will be archived. If it is failed for some reason, then it can of course be applied for again. So watch out for those Unique Quests! They are your best shot at some really cool rewards!
    • “Of Legend”: Quests Of Legend. These are the Quests that usually have some sort of long-term effect on your character, enable your character to carry a title and usually stand in correlation with some sort of event. Quests Of Legend have a variety of different facets and are heavy on their storyline. The requirements to complete them are usually very high, but they will not rarely incorporate an NPC with an account playing alongside you. Quests Of Legend are incredibly rare, and there will likely only exist one of these at a time. They usually only sprout in the higher Ranks and require strong characters to complete. Quests Of Legend will give the highest rewards possible, but they will be incredibly rare, so don't count on doing one of these! They will be both limited on time and can only be applied for once in total. Meaning even if someone fails these Quests, then it will get taken off the Quest Board.

Although most Quests will be created by staff, you can definitely create Quests as well in the Content Creation Section! Created Quests will be separately moved into the Quest Section and NOT into the Approved Content subforum. You can find the Quest Template below and also information as to what should be included into each of those sections.

Quests Of Legend are only created by staff and can not be applied.
