Unforgetful Sins [Private,Monzo]

~8 Years Prior~

Young Mari about the age of 11, had joined the knights of liones and was simply a squire if anything else, bearing chainmail and leather gloves, with a short sword on her lap. She rode on a large cart with about another eleven other knights who were sanctioned to be posted within Fort Solgales. She was against it, truly, she'd rather stay at the castle by her kings side if any danger were to come to him while she was away, she'd make the entire kingdom pay.

As she thought to herself, a nasty expression fell upon her face, causing the other knights to become more worrisome. Some started to sweat while others attempted to shimmy away from her. She sat alone on the far end of the cart, near the edge, watching the path they lead on pass her as they continued forward. The terrain was rocky at best with small groups of trees and grass everywhere.

The cart started to slow down, as the rode started to get much cleaner and bricks laid in the ground as a sturdier path. She looked toward the front, and a large fort laid upon the cliff head. She can see dozens of knights at the top, holding spears and some crossbows, ready for anything that was to come their way in the event of an attack. The scene kept her eyes wide, as this will become her near future.

"Oi, rookie. Take our blades from the cart and bring them into the storage."

On of the more larger knights of the group demanded of her, as he looked down on her with a large grin on her face. She sighed before complying without much fuss. With her blade on her hip and the rest over her shoulder, the rest of the group were quite stunned as to her growth from joining the knights, some were just surprised as to her strength carrying that many swords, some twice her won size, on just one shoulder.

She thought she should set herself up as well seeing as she was already heading into the fort. A bit of exploring might do her some good, in this situation.

He heard many stories of what went on in Fort Solgales. Some of which involved rookies cleaning every single weapon own by a knight. He didn't do good at taking orders of cleaning, especially when it comes to cleaning shinny things. He would surely disappoint the King if anyone found out he stole weapons from his fellow knights, but then again. Who says they will find out?

Seri made his way around the Fort witnessing many great knights. They were all so strong and made him look so weak. That all changed when he saw a little girl carrying many swords. He couldn't help but wonder who she was. She might be one of the newest rookies that were coming in today. Maybe she was just visiting someone who was a knight here, but he quickly forgot about that suggestion when he saw the sword on her hip. He couldn't help but wonder if the sword was made with anything special. Maybe he could take it and sell it to a merchant back at the Kingdom. His ideas were endless.

He made his way over to the young girl with a somewhat evil grin. "AY! Need some help with that?" He said without giving the girl anytime to respond. He grabbed the swords from her arms and made his way towards the storage. He stopped mid steps and turned back to the girl, "Are you coming?" He turned back around and continued walking he didn't want the girl to see the devilish grin on his face.

Upon entering the fort itself, she was met with a tall and built man, who had taken all the of the swords up right from her grip. It happened too quickly that she was unable to keep her grip of the hilts as they lifted into the air. She quickly turned toward the man that asked if she needed some help with the blades. He probably assumed that she was having trouble with the amount of blades but she didn't reply but just stared at the man.

He strode off toward the weapons storage room before stopping and turning back to her, asking her to come along. She decided to tag along, since she was planning on doing some exploring anyways, so what the heck. She started to follow the man toward the storage rooms.

The storage's were beneath the fort itself, a little above the floor that would lead to the dungeons, that held captives who've tried to capture the fort. It wasn't the best location for a storage in her opinion but who was she to complain.

"So may I ask, Who are you?"

She asked curiously.

As they entered the storage room, Seri couldn't help but look at all the nice stuff that could sell for a good price. If he was by himself, he could easily take them and leave, but he had the child that was currently behind him. "I'm Seri. He responded to her question not wanting to tell her he was a one of the Seven Deadly Sins. If he did, she would surely get suspicious of what sin he committed. He definitely didn't want that to happen.

He walked over to the where all the swords were placed and put the swords he was carrying down. He turned back to the little girl and asked, "Now that is done, mind telling me who are?" He wanted to befriend the girl so that he could get what was on her hip. Maybe she would even let him "hold it" for a little bit. Who knows the possibilities are endless.

She entered the entrance to the storage room, following right behind the man now known as Seri. The weapon storage was just as she suspected, where the room large and rugged, was filled with an abundance of weapons. All each different in both shape and size, from even the different types of weapons themselves, spears to hammers to average swords. The thing that stood out the most was the man himself and shined brightly in the center of the room.

He wore an excited grin on his face as he looked at all the weapons that sat quietly in the room. She came with the assumption that he was once a weapon smith, with his love for crafting weapons, he loved to see those weapons used for good. She stared at him with an emotionless expression as he returned the weapons where they belonged and looked toward her.

"Now that is done, mind telling me who are?"

He asked curiously. She turned toward his face.

"The future King of Britannia...Is what I'd like to say."

She said with a chuckle in her voice, as she lifted a large grin on her face and crossed her arms over her chest. Walking toward Seri, she'd pass by him and walk toward the large crate filled with swords, the same as the ones, Seri returned.

"My name is Mari Windsor, I'm but a Squire. Willing to fight for Liones."

She spoke as she unhooked her sheathed blade from her belt and placed it with the rest of the swords in the crate. Clapping away the dust from her hands, she looked around the room before she spotted what she wanted. It was a nothing special but a wood hatchet, for chopping logs.

"Mind helping me, with something?"

She asked as she threw the hatchet over her shoulder.

"Where do they cut logs around here?"

She asked again.
