    Quest Creation Event!

    Hey everyone,
    it's Britannia again.

    This is another event that will run parallel to the Advertisement Event. It is a site-internal event that will incorporate the creation of Quests for the Quest Section of the forum, since that thing is completely empty as of now. We all need Quests. They're fun, they are supposed to be rewarding, and they are supposed to further personal plots as well as endorse character relations by taking them with a partner or even in groups.

    Overall, the rules here are the same as for any other Creation Event. Abide the necessary rules (in this case the Quest Guidelines), and try to be as imaginative as possible. Or you can be simple. We need all kinds of Quests. Those for the strong, those for the weak, those to take in groups, those to take alone, those to pass the time, those to invest some serious writing into.

    For every created Quest you will receive something between 50 and upwards of 300 Exp (depending on the complexity and the effort gone into its creation)!

    Quest Description: You found a thief in action. The thief snatched a woman’s bag away from her in the open street. It is up to you to capture that thief! This thief has exceptional speed and agility, enabling him to slip around quickly. You may require some techniques to either restrain him, or speed you up.

    The Lost Scrolls Trilogy!

    Quest

    Quest Name: Lost Scrolls (Part 1)
    Quest Type: Rare
    Quest Rank: Apprentice
    Quest Requirements: 1.4k words minimum. This mission can only be done twice by different person. Must be at Liones. Must be at least Apprentice.

    Quest Description: While on his journey to Liones, the royal messenger was robbed. The bandits took everything valuable from him, including the letters and was set free. You come across the messenger, who was stripped naked other than a loin cloth. Approaching him, he begs you to retrieve the letters, which are all in a sack. Accepting the mission, you head off to the bandit’s camp, which is located deep in the forest. There are at least 10 bandits there, 5 at novice level, 2 civilians level, and 3 of apprentice level. The place where the letters are are guarded by the 5 novices. You can either try to sneak across them, which will be super hard, or try to take them on. If you don’t do it quick enough, they might shout, alerting the rest. Upon successfully retrieving the letters, you find a weird medallion right below the sack of the letters. Picking it up, you pocket it. Proceed to return the letters to the messenger.

    Quest Rewards: Some exp, and a medallion needed to complete the rest of the Lost Scrolls series.

    Quest Name: Lost Scrolls (Part 2)
    Quest Type: Rare
    Quest Rank: Apprentice
    Quest Requirements: 2k words minimum. Must be at least Apprentice. Can be done only if you succeeded in the previous lost scroll mission.

    Quest Description: After a few days, or weeks, from that encounter, you forgot all about the medallion in your pocket. Well, until you had a weird encounter. As you were walking in the forest, you reached a mountain. Suddenly, the ground started shaking and your forgotten medallion starts shining. When the shaking stop, you realize a cave has appeared at the foot of the mountain. Upon entering the cave, you realize that this isn’t a normal, or natural cave. From the graffitis on the wall and posters, you quickly find out that this cave is the rumored Bandit cave, where the most famous Bandit, Aladdin, hid all his treasures.

    This cave is a huge labyrinth. If you have some skills in mapping, it might help out with your navigation. Also, this cave is filled with booby traps, so try to RP them well. Upon reaching the end of the labyrinth, you are greeted by an animated armor, which attacked you without a single hesitation. The only way to defeat it is destroying its core, which is the equivalent of our heart. The rank of this animated statue is experienced. The statue wields a sword, and it made out of enchanted iron. It has enhanced strength, but in exchange, its attacks and movements are slower.

    If you lose to the statue, you lose your medallion, but the armor is grateful enough to teleport you out of the cave, but it’ll be sealed, as you do not possess the medallion anymore. However, if you defeat it, a door will appear behind it, leading you to the next quest.

    Quest Name: Lost Scrolls (Part 3)
    Quest Type: Unique
    Quest Rank: Experienced
    Quest Requirements: 2.5k words minimum. Must complete the previous Lost Scrolls before attempting this. Must be at least Experienced.

    Quest Description: Upon entering the door, you can see that you are inside a room full of treasures. While admiring the treasures, you are greeted by a young looking man, who introduced himself as the embodiment of the great Aladdin. He said that he would give you anything you want, with one condition, you defeat him.

    Aladdin is a strong and wise person. He has huge strength, and his agility is not to be made fun off either. His skills with the sword is exceptional. Aladdin will be an NPC to be RolePlayed by the staffs.

    After defeating Aladdin, as promised, you are given everything in the treasury. However, as Aladdin dissipate, all the treasures soon seem to be blurred. Aladdin then explains that this is all an illusion. However, he did not lie about a treasure lying there. As his body starts dissipating, you can see a solid item forming as he disappears.

    Quest Name: Bandit Camp
    Quest Type: Common
    Quest Rank: Experienced
    Quest Requirements: Experienced or higher, or have an experienced present if lower. 1 k WC or more for completion

    Quest Description:You have taken up an assignment to handle a bandit camp that was threatening a small town. They have been paying “protection” money ever since the bandits started harassing them three months ago. Your job is to make sure that those bandits fail to do so ever again. You can tackle this quest in three  ways, you would arrive at the town and wait until the  day that the representative bandit comes to collect the extortion money. The options can vary from engaging the bandit and forcing him to tell you where the camp. Having them complete the transaction and  using your stealth to tail them back to the bandit camp to avoid fighting in the town and causing property damage, or dressing up as a bandit and using your charisma to  play a bandit that was left behind and be escorted there.

    After arrival,  you are either free to reveal yourself for an honorable bout, surprise attack, or stealth kill most of the bandits.  After taking out a few of the bandits, the bandit leader would appear and challenge you to a duel. Upon his defeat, the remaining menial bandits will immediately beg for mercy and return all of the money to the town or anything valuable to make up for all of the money that they have taken. At this point, you could give no mercy and let no bandit live, or allow them to live and leave it up to the remaining bandits to go about their words and return what they have wrongfully taken, along with disappearing from the area.

    Quest Name: Were-Bears
    Quest Type: Common
    Quest Rank: Experienced
    Quest Requirements: Experienced or higher, or have an experienced present if lower. 1 k WC or more for completion

    Quest Description:There are some rumors going on about a strange disease that has been  affecting the bears at night, you hear the rumor from a hunter that is also a part time lumberjack. He speaks of his fellow comrades that have been missing ever since and wants you to go on a hunting trip with him in order to find out the source of the problem.  In your travels, you guys come across a purple bees nest with a strange kind of black honey oozing from within. The hive of bees attack and you fend them off, After more investigation of the honey, the hunter informs you that the honey of these bees causes  temporary mutations that follow the lunar cycle.

    Its around that time that you hear a scream and you guys quickly head to the side of the road. Strange looking werewolf like bears come to attack the caravan and you rush to their aid. You will engage the were bears and defeat them, but then find out that the caravan contained an animal doctor. You have the choice going along with the thrill of the hunt, the game, and revenge for the fallen lumberjacks with the hunter Or you could take a more compassionate route and leave the bears in the care of the doctor, who claims to have a cure for these creatures and states that the bees were at fault.

    Quest Name: The Stand in
    Quest Type: Common
    Quest Rank: Experienced
    Quest Requirements: Experienced or Higher, 1 k WC for completion or more

    Quest Description: You witness a pretty amusing battle between two knights at a town and one of them cheated to achieve the win. You step  in before the killing blow and the knight sucks his teeth and walks away. After counseling the defeated knight,  you take him to a nearby cabin with a  doctor and hear his story. His name is Sir Steven He was supposed to represent his household in a tourney and today was the day of finals. Sir Golbaz tried to take out the good competition and win it all for himself. You then offer yourself as a stand in in order to fight in the man’s steed, temporarily taking on his household.

    You go through two rounds before the finals, in which Golbez awaits you as the final combatant. Defeat him and achieve victory. However, the plot twist is that the injured man  was not truly injured and used you to fight in his placed while he rested up.  He steps into the ring and challenges you; he has much desire to test your skills.  This battle might test your stamina because you just came from defeating Golbez. After the knights defeat, he apologies for his trickery and refers you with much respect.

    Quest Name: Underground Tunnel
    Quest Type: Common
    Quest Rank: Experienced or higher, or have an experienced present if lower. 1 k WC or more for completion
    Quest Requirements:

    Quest Description: The miners of your respective kingdom hasn’t had a status report in days or even returned. You are assigned to investigate this immediately. If you are an adventurer, the kingdom hires you as a mercenary so they wouldn’t waste any of their forces on something so trivial. Upon arriving at the site, you would see your guide that would explain that the miners haven’t came out of that cave in three days. He goes into a detailed story that he was helping them mark out the elusive tunnels of the mine caves until they were ambushed by humanoid bat like beings. You enter and navigate the cave with the guides help in search of survivors.

    You will find dead bodies covered in sticky bat poop but would see that some miners are still alive. One of the miners revere the bats as an endangered species and that they disturbed one of the last few places that they were located and living in peace by accident. They also explain that they have been eating bat dong to survive due to being super glued to the floor and potentially starving. Afterwards, you hear a screech and combat some of the incoming humanoid bat monsters. Defeat them and head for the queen, who lays deeper within. Be careful of their sticky poop, it’s like super glue. Upon the defeat of the queen, you noticed that she has babies. This is your judgment call, you can either gave their race a chance to live and close off the cave and condemn it to nobody else enters; or you can kill the babies and leave the cave safe for the miners to return to work.

    Quest Name: Caribbean Trouble
    Quest Type: Common
    Quest Rank: Experienced
    Quest Requirements: Experienced or higher, or have an experienced present if lower. 1 k WC or more for completion

    Quest Description: Captain Jack Jackson needs your help in going to an uninhabited island to acquire a fruit that helps make the best rum. You journey with him and his crew on the boat in order to collect this fruit. Upon arriving at the island, the captain send you to go on and take care of collecting the fruit but offers you a choice. You now have two ways of going about this quest. All of the animals on this island are drunk, even the hostile ones. You would have to combat the drunk silverback gorillas that are defending them that strangely know drunken kung fu after eating the fruit for so many years. However, before you reach that, you would have to get rid of the drunken monkeys that pursue you.

    You can either fight them all or you could drink from the special Gubric fruit that captain jack gave you to become insanely drunk for the rest of this mission in order to fool the monkeys at least that you are not foreign to the island. However, it is not enough to fool the silverback gorillas and you will still have to defeat the drunken master animals to get to the tree. After gathering the fruit, you either walk back or stumble to the boat and sail of.

    Quest Name: Aid the Chibi Darth vief.
    Quest Type:Rare.
    Quest Rank:Experienced.
    Quest Requirements: atleast rank 3 - 5 or lower and criminal faction affiliation. 10 posts, 250 words each or 2500 words in one post and leave no survivors.

    Quest Description:
    A wounded thief has asked you to guard him from all intruders while he steals a vase of indispensable fortune.
    Client:

    First round:
    3x Guards 5 - 1.
    equipped with an iron pole, they will attack on sight.
    Guards - First Wave:

    Second round:
    Chibi Ponies - Second Wave:
    2x Chibi Ponies. 4 - 1
    These ponies are equipped with top-bladed helms.

    Boss::
    The boss and the last attacker. 3 - 1
    The boss will ask you if you killed all of them, regardless of the answer he will go into an enraged mode giving him a 100 boost to physical abilites.

    Power Name: Ass chomper.
    Power Type: Physical.
    Power Description: The boss jumps into the air and wides his bottom cheeks, attempting to thrust the person closest to him in there. The boss will only use this once half his life force is left.

    Strengths:
    The person that gets hit instantly gets knocked unconscious and if left inside for 2 posts or 500 words, he will suffocate and die. However if the boss hits nobody the boss gets instantly killed.
    Weaknesses:
    The boss can only cast this once
    The boss requires a line of sight otherwise he will not use it.


    Quest Rewards:
    1500 exp preferably.

    Quest

    Quest Name: Missing Childrens?
    Quest Type: Rare
    Quest Rank: Legendary
    Quest Requirements: Can be done once only, Must be at least Master Tier. 5k word requirement (If two people takes this up, they each must have 5k)

    Quest Description: Civilians of Liones had been reporting that their kids have been mysteriously disappearing at night. Go and take up this mission and investigate their disappearance.

    Plot : Ask around the village, and get some clue, and somehow, find a clue that'll lead you to the forest in the outskirt. While travelling in the forest, you'll hear footsteps and some voices. If you were to investigate, you'll discover that the voices are coming from some men who are carrying some kids on their shoulders. If you choose to follow them, they'll lead you inside a cave, guarded by some guards. If you choose to enter the place, you'll either need to enter there stealthily, or to defeat everyone in your way, which totals up to 5 Experienced in the entrance, and 3 experts in the next room. After this room, it'll lead you to a hallway with a huge altar in the center of the hall. Upon entering this room, you'll be interrupted by a cutscene, showing the two children getting slaughtered, and then a chant is to be heard throughout the area that goes something like this :

    "All Hail the Demon Clan, who is, and will, reconquer the earth with its sheer strength! Curses be unto the Goddess Clan, that stood in the way against the Demon Clan! Now, we, the supporters of the Demon Clan, hereby sacrifice to thee a vessel, blood from a demon, and 99 souls of children!"

    After this chant, the man who was on the altar was showered with ashes and some blood. After this, a single droplet of blood from a vial was dropped, and they set the man on fire. After some anguish cries from the man, the cries soon turned into laughter. This man soon slaughters the cult members and turns to you. Time for battle! (Staff member controls this character)

    This man has the strength of 99 children. He has some traits of a demon, as his size is double of a normal human. He has long claws, and also horns of a demon. Not to mention his wings, which enables him to fly about 10 meters above the sky. He has the power to screech, which deals a knockback equivalent to his strength(99 children).

    Quest Rewards: Tons of EXP, fame in Liones, and also some equipment?

    FieryNyan receives [650] Exp for the 10/10 approved Quests.

    Relius receives [350] for 3/4 approved Quests. Caribbean Trouble is not approved due to its content being misplaced in our current universe.

    Dordur receives [50] Exp for his rather... comedic Quest.

    Quest Name: The wind from the North brings a bad omen
    Quest Type: Unique
    Quest Rank: Expert
    Quest Requirements: 10k words minimum, Any capable danaforian or adventurer may accept, others must seek out Alberdeen to gain his permission.

    Quest Description: Informants from Alberdeen's spy network have reported back to him with movement and mobilization in the North. Those who accept the mission have but one objective - validate the reports and gain any information that could prove important to the Kingdom of Danafor.

    Quest begins with receiving the details from Lord Alberdeen, then proceed to infiltrate into Barbarian lands to access situation from a cliff nearest the last known barbarian encampment. However, the informant had been compromised and the information is shifty and shady. Upon arrival at the position the entourage will be ambushed by a powerful (Master 1-5) barbarian warlord. However, this is no normal barbarian and he seems... tainted.  Upon survival, if there are any survival - report back to Lord Alberdeen who will reward participants and debrief them.

    Quest Name: Lady in the Painting [1]
    Quest Type: Rare
    Quest Rank: Expert/Master
    Quest Requirements: Knowledge of all three kingdoms (Must traveled far/At least contributed IC within each of the kingdoms). The maximum amount of people is three, each at least Expert if not higher.

    Quest Description:

    Within an old rickety mansion, upon a hillside of Biron, there lays a painting up on the wall directly in front of the entrance. Large in size, a young beautiful tundra of snow captivates anyone who lays their eyes. With a town in the far distance that seems to be in wreckage....and smoke rising from the town, that actually gave the sense of movement.  A small portion of the painting has been removed in the bottom right.

    A sole artist, old for his age knew of the cursed painting for years but never had the chance to actually pursue this curious phenomenon  due to his old age. Upon his discovery he shall entail three locations of the last painting piece. Each within a kingdom tho only one true piece. Each piece is protected by a knight of the brush. (Each Master 1-5).

    Upon the founding of the pieces return to the old man, where he will tell you the second piece of the puzzle in which brings the curse to light.

    Quest Rewards: Exp as norm (Upon completing the entire quest line, each participant will gain a prize of value)

    *Part 1 of 3, hoping to make this a long and bountiful journey. Being Liquid time, it should be fine to wait a bit as I grow the story. XD*

    Quest

    Quest Name: Elemental Meltdown!
    Quest Type: Rare
    Quest Rank: Master
    Quest Requirements: Can only be done once, Must have at least one Master Ranked Player in party, 12k Word Count throughout Party and One Time Only

    Quest Description:
    A sudden increase of natural disasters had started to occur not to long ago throughout Britannia. Forest Fires rose from no where consuming dozens of wildlife as well as natural resources, tremors consuming entire villages and towns, twisters and tornado's erupting from no where, lakes bursting into large bubbles that float around, the insanity!?

    Search for clues within any of the transpiring towns Byzel, Ordan or Bernia. Maybe finding someone who was effected themselves might have a sense as to where the trouble came from. (The party is to head toward one of the three towns that are being run down by their elemental. The party also has the choice to separate and take on their own town. Ordan Fire Elemental, Byzel Earth, Bernia Water). After approaching the source of the destruction and handling it like most people,  they will give more clues as to the location of the source. (Forest of White Dreams)

    Leading to the entrance will follow the last three Elemental's (Whoever is left) in attempt to protect their master. Upon reaching the abandoned home they will find a old wizard, consumed in rags. They'll do anything they'll need to escape alive, even kill those that arrive. Finish him off and end his reign.

    Enemies:

    Water Elemental: (Master) A continuous stream of water that takes the form of anything it wants, from blunt strikes to cutting blades of pressurized water cutting through bodies like butter. Unlike Wind and Earth, Water is one of the Elementals that can increase their size dependent by the amount of water they can source from.

    Wind Elemental: (Expert) A Wind Sprite, spherical in shape consumed in a railing brim of wind and dust. They use blunt force to blast their enemies into other objects, stones or walls, as well as shoot their enemies into the air, the ride down is quite fun.

    Earth Elemental: (Expert) A Terra Formed Golem, large and bulky in size it uses that to it's advantage. Using it's immense strength and strong defense, he can cause small earth shakes and tremors to crush it's enemies.

    Fire Elemental: (Master) A flame that never burns out, this elemental is humanoid in size, about the average size of a man. This elemental doesn't have any physical properties but can burn objects faster then any flame. This elemental when weakened by it's natural enemy can restore itself if left alone long enough. And similar to Water it's strength comes from it's size. If found in a forest, once that fire grows out, it's flames are larger and stronger.

    (Each Elemental Being has a crystallized soul that was originally from a human being, imbedded within them. It's their weak spot. Two of which can combine to make a whole other element. This only happens once, if you want a harder experience.)

    Old Wizard (Ezekiel): (Master) Nothing but a old Wizard until you can get him to release his true potential. Underneath the hood a faceless mannequin reveals itself, his entire body carved from wood. This wizard has the power to manipulate wood and himself to go with it.
    Weapon: "Ferryman's Paddle" - Like the Paddle aided to row the souls of the dead to hell, this staff allows the user to bring the soul of a dead person to that of another objects/intangible things (elements). If the staff destroy, the rest of the elements will go down with it.
